We help you plan, design, and permit ADUs built for long-term living. A space that works for your needs now and in the future.

Most homeowners do not realize what is possible. They know they need something that supports how they live today, but have not been shown how thoughtful planning can also support them over time. At the same time, many families are looking for ways to bring parents or grandparents closer, creating a multi-generational support system that connects families even more.
Many of the people we work with are facing situations like these:
IF ANY OF THESE SOUNDS FAMILIAR...
We'll help you understand your options, no commitment needed.
An ADU, or Accessory Dwelling Unit, is a fully independent living space built on your existing property. We specialize in Aging in Place ADUs and Solutions designed specifically for long-term comfort, safety, and independence as needs change over time. Features often include single story floor plans, reduced thresholds and transitions, wider doorways, grab bar supports and much more!
For many families, an Aging in Place ADU can also solve a practical problem: keeping loved ones close while still maintaining privacy and independence. As the need for multi generational living solutions grows, this is a great option for supporting aging parents and aging parents supporting their adult children’s family.
An Aging in Place ADU is a living space designed to support safety, comfort, and independence over time. It can be a separate ADU or part of a broader home solution, depending on your property and needs.
The cost depends on the type of solution that makes the most sense for your property and your needs. Our pre-designed ADU plans are the most popular option due to value and time saved, while our custom solutions and existing home remodel fee vary based on size, needs, and city requirements. Our goal is to help you first understand what is possible, then provide clear pricing based on the right path for your situation.
The more useful question early on is: what does it cost to not plan ahead? A fall that leads to a hospital stay, a rushed decision about assisted living, a retrofit that requires opening finished walls those costs add up quickly and arrive without warning. We help you understand the full picture so the decision is based on real numbers, not assumptions.
It depends on the path you choose. A pre-designed ADU plan, particularly one already pre-approved in your city, moves significantly faster through permitting, usually 1-3 months from the time that we start to plan approval. In terms of the Custom solutions, there are variables that will determine the length of time which we can discuss further. We'll give you a realistic timeline for your situation early in the process.
We specialize in planning, design, and permitting. We are not a general contractor and we don't do the construction. You can work with your own General Contractor or one of the licensed contractors within our trusted network who are familiar with our plans and have agreed to value pricing.
There are several ways people choose to pay, depending on the type of project and their financial situation. Some clients pay with cash or credit card, while others use financing options such as construction loans, ADU-specific loans, or lending programs designed for older homeowners. Depending on your situation, there may also be state or local grant programs available. We can help you understand the options and connect you with the right resources.
